This is the fifteen-minute Sunday, printed. Nineteen prompts in the order a real month hands them to you, six sheets to write the answers on, and the two-week rotation that stops you planning from nothing every weekend. Twenty-six pages, US Letter, sized to print on A4 as well.
The problem this actually solves
It is not that you do not know how to cook. It is that dinner is a decision you have to make roughly three hundred times a year, usually at the worst moment of the day, with people asking you about it while you make it.
Meal planning fixes that, and almost nobody sticks with it. Not because it does not work — because week three arrives, the plans start repeating, and the fifteen minutes stops feeling like a saving and starts feeling like a chore with an extra step in it. That is the week people stop, and it is the week most planners and printables have nothing to say about.
Four of these twenty-six pages exist only for that week. There is a page on why the repetition happens and what it actually is, a rotation you build once and reuse for months, two lines you can paste in as the cheap fix, and a troubleshooting page for the week that falls apart on Tuesday. That last one is the page most kits leave out, and it is the one that decides whether there is a week four.
What is in it
Nineteen prompts, in working order
Not a list of a hundred. Nineteen, arranged in the order a normal month sends you to them: the weekly plan and the shopping list first, then the rotation, then the rescues for the nights with no plan, then the pantry and freezer weeks, then the versions for picky eaters, lunchboxes, activity nights, a hard budget cap, and any diet you need to swap in.
Each one comes with the line most people get wrong, what a good reply looks like, and what to say when the reply is not it. Every one runs on the free tier of ChatGPT.
Six printable sheets, undated
- The Week Sheet — seven nights, a column for what to buy, and a wildcard row left deliberately empty so a week that goes wrong uses the design instead of breaking it.
- The Grocery Sheet — aisle-ordered, with a box for the things you already own and a box for the items bought for one meal only. Those two boxes are most of the saving.
- The Rotation Board — fourteen slots. Fill it once, and Sunday becomes a two-minute job instead of a fifteen-minute one.
- The Pantry Sheet — the once-a-season stocktake, filled standing at the cupboard rather than from memory.
- The Swap Sheet — what a picky eater reliably eats, sometimes eats, and refuses, with the reason. The accepted column is always longer than people expect.
- The Reset Cards — two cards to cut out and stick on the fridge, for the two nights that actually end meal-planning systems.
Who it is for
Someone who cooks most nights for a household, has opened ChatGPT once or twice and closed it again, and has a drawer or a Pinterest board full of planners they did not stick with. It assumes no technical knowledge and no paid subscription to anything.
It is not for you if you already have a meal-planning system you like — this will not improve it. If you want recipes, this is the wrong purchase, and a library card is a better one. And if you enjoy deciding dinner each evening, genuinely, then this solves a problem you do not have.

Questions people ask before buying this
Do I need to pay for ChatGPT?
No. Every prompt in the kit was written for the free tier and none of them uses a paid feature. If you have a paid plan the prompts still work exactly the same — they are not doing anything clever, they are just asking well.
Is this just the free articles in a PDF?
The prompts are the same prompts, deliberately — a paid kit whose prompt has drifted from the free article it came from is a maintenance bug waiting to happen, so there is one copy of each and the kit is built from it. What is not on the site is the order, the six printable sheets, the rotation system, and the troubleshooting page. Roughly four hours of assembling, if you did it yourself from the guides.
Will it work if my week never goes to plan?
That is the case it is designed around. The Week Sheet has a wildcard row and a night-off row, the rescue cards exist for the nights with no plan at all, and there is a whole page on restarting after you have missed a week. Plenty of people use only the two fridge cards and never plan a week — that is a legitimate way to use it.
Do I have to print it?
No, but the system works better if you print at least the Week Sheet. The reason is not nostalgia: a plan on a screen has to be found again, and at five o’clock on a Thursday nobody goes looking. Everything is sized for both US Letter and A4.
Is it suitable for allergies or a medical diet?
It is a planning system, not nutrition advice, and it is not written by a dietitian. It will plan a week around a list of allowed foods your clinician gave you, and page 24 shows how to swap any constraint in. For a real allergy, read the plan yourself and read the label in the shop — these tools are confidently wrong about what is in a packaged ingredient often enough to matter.
Still deciding? Read the free walkthrough it is built on and see whether the approach suits you. If it does, the kit is the version you do not have to assemble.
